The hell?

This animation was well done, the sound was okay, and overall this is a decent piece of work -- but I'll never look at AUTO the same way again.

Great animation

Seriously, the animation was top quality. Everything ran smoothly and the art was top notch. I especially liked the Martian ship corridors. I can't find any criticism for this, in fact. So kudos.

Eh.

To gio7x, if everyone follows your suggestions, Newgrounds would be filled with crap submissions where everyone voted 5 and gave glowing reviews.

It was pretty good on the humor side, but the animation was kind of lacking (it could be smoother) and there was a glaring parallax error at the start.

EdpR responds:

I'm glad you liked it but
But what do you mean with glaring parallax error?

Meh

It's a bit unclear at times, like where to click or what to do, and it also isn't really related to any particular program, which makes its usability limited. Perhaps you could do something similar with Illustrator or Processing instead of create a new, fictional program, and include more instructions?

I don't understand why you posted this on Newgrounds, since the general public here isn't very receptive to educational tools. :P

I needed to do user testing on middle schoolers, and unfortunately institutions make it a little difficult to gain access to kids (intentionally and unintentionally and for a number of reasons.) Instead of trying to bring the project to kids, posting on newgrounds brought a bunch of kids to the project.

You're right, only small percentage of people actually finished and an even smaller amount went on to the questionnaire, and even some of those didn't finish that. However, the people that had enough interest to actually respond are likely closer to my target audience than random people from a class. And in the end the very small handful of replies I got gave me exactly the amount of info I needed, and with an exceptionally fast turn around = )

Mediocre

Well, nice try, but the game was too easy, the graphics were too boring, there was no preloader, the gameplay got repetitive, and so on. Catching bugs does not a fun game make - better luck next time!

Eh.

Not bad. You executed your concept well - it was just seriously boring and quickly got old. Nice Microsoft hating, and nice programming. If only there were more things to do on this virtual iMicrosoftTouch...

AsianSpark responds:

Duh, i was bored.

Too repetitive

Great backing and samples, but the guitar gets on my nerves after a while. It's just playing the same damn tune over and over again. You sure you couldn't vary the guitar a little? If that was the case, this would indeed be bloody awesome, but right now I can only give you a pitiful 7/10. Buck up, bro. You have a good sense of rhythm and melody, so you might wanna check out techno. I think you would definitely do good with techno.

Repetitive.

This is my first audio review, so don't take this very seriously.

This music is really, really repetitive. I soon get bored of it. Could've been easily shortened to a 20 second loop. On the upside, it is one of the best in the country section, and is VERY clear, to the point of unrealness.

You've got some work to do, my friend.

This pwns, no?

I love this stuff.

BTW, what Hertzfeldt said is "This roxxors my 50xxors" or in normal English "This rocks my 50s!"

Helix6 responds:

What's a 50? I would say "This rocks the 50's!"

I'm just this guy, you know?
